Narrow VCF Mestalla win with Juvenil A
VCF Mestalla and Juvenil A played a preseason friendly on Friday at 9:30 kick-off time at the Ciutat Esportiva in what has been their second pre-season friendly which ended in a 1-0 victory for VCF Mestalla.
A tight friendly game between both sides which swung in VCF Mestalla’s favour in the dying minutes through a Facundo González goal following a corner kick having enjoyed the best chances which came off of Pablo Jiménez and Pablo Gozálbez’s boots but the keeper, Andrés Céspedes was equal to them.
VCF Mestalla’s head coach made multiple changes to the side that played the Spanish Footballers’ Association Selection on Wednsday night with plenty of young players up to five who have been promoted to VCF Mestalla and were under Angulo’s orders last season
Some recently renewed Academy players like the aforementioned Andrés Céspedes, the centre-back Cristhian Mosquera or the midfielder Carles Aliberch featured in the preseason friendly match.
Further Academy friendlies:
The rest of the friendly fixtures saw a morning preseason friendly between Juvenil B (U18) and Cadete A U16 and the afternoon friendlies between Cadete A Femenino Fundación Infantil A (U13) and Infantil B (U14).
